Jordan Mackenzie spent twelve-years with Victoria Police as a general crime Detective and uniform patrol Sergeant before founding BaySafe.
During his career, he attended and investigated hundreds of break-ins and car thefts across Melbourne's inner-west and south-east suburbs. A few things became clear over the years: residents will often choose the “cheap and easy” security option, and “smart” security only goes as far as the device in your hand without the right risk assessment and understanding.
BaySafe grew from these pain points, and Jordan aims to arm residential and commercial clients with comprehensive knowledge of their current risk profile and how that can be improved through meaningful security uplift measures.
